What a petulant child Jones is, watch him storm off on SKY after that nutter went mad in a gay club in America. Jones is one of Corbyn's biggest supporters, its no coincidence Labour face oblivion.
I bet you're glad you left the Labour Party eh Sansum?

The Irony is Jones craves to be part of the very Establishment he supposedly despises. His book is full of wrong assumptions and shows he really doesn't know what he's talking about. It's just pseudo intellectual claptrap.

Unlike his previous book chavs , this one only expresses his left wing view point offers no viable solutions and conveniently uses contributors quotes out of context, if you want an incite into this world don't waste your time on this.

I haven't read any of his books but enjoy reading newspaper articles, like other political columnists he shapes the facts to support his theories but always thought provoking. Not a popular figure in the Labour establishment since he withdrew his support for Corbyn.

Full credit to Jezza on this one, the public will support if they get to hear of it.

A good idea that I would think most would support but how many companies is it likely to affect, I suspect very few.
I would prefer to see every company who trades in the UK regardless of where their HQ is pay their tax here.

Secret ballot donchaknow!
I was talking to a voter in Dover today about the recent KCC election however. He had attempted to spoil his ballot by wittily drawing a large 'cock' on it and was pleasantly surprised to find his choice had been elected.

The latest wheeze from Jezza is to abolish hospital parking charges which will go down well with the voters but a source of revenue for the NHS would be lost.

Excellent idea, even fewer people using public transport and free parking for anyone who works or lives close to a hospital. Can't see why we haven't done this before.

I'm sure a way could be found to ensure only those with appointments at a hospital get the free parking.

Brilliant. We could spend some of the NHS budget employing some jobsworth to check drivers either had appointments or were visiting patients.
This is getting better by the minute.
What started out as a way of possibly subsidising the NHS (pay parking) becomes an on-going drain on scarce resources.

All it needs is a car parking sticker to be printed off at the same time as the appointment letter.
We have enforcement officers in the District for minor offences I don't see anything really different in the NHS hiring a few if this plan comes into force.

Off to A&E. I've hurt my head banging it on the desk in exasperation. AND I've got a bloody Council meeting tonight to listen to more 'obvious' solutions from the latter day equivalent of the 'man on the St Radigunds omnibus'. God give me strength.

Our local kent hospitals already have a parking office with wardens so there would be no requirement for employing a jobs worth!
