Keef and his supporters have leafleted every house in the ward.

 They certainly have not.

Many people in the Conservation area of Dover would agree with you. They feel forgotten too, and do not understand the Wards, that have cobbled it all together with Elms Vale/ etc.

 However, life is life.

Effingham Crescent / Norman Street / Saxon Street / Dover College etc.

 - Am surprised at above posting as we did these streets about two weeks ago, including some in grounds of Dover College. Particularly remember it as reported rubbish in Effingham Crescent

 - As we don't use names anymore 101 was referring to the community representative whilst 107 was referring to the Labour candidate from River.

Yes I was referring to the Independant Keith Sansum . Not picking him out actually.
 -
I do not know what the expression "we did these streets about two weeks ago means".

Leaflets and letters are a waste of time and mean nothing. We never see bodies!!! Talking, real life bodies.

It is very difficult for political parties and individuals standing to find enough people to leaflet especially for a Town Council By election no chance of door knocking. Even at General Election times the parties only knock on the doors of people that have supported them in the past. Most people work full time then come home and cook the dinner, put the kids to bed, do the ironing then flake out in front of the telly.

 - As you all know I represented River for many years.I recal Gwyn Prosser referring to me by saying "When you know every ones name plus the dogs you will get elected,"I once said to Gorgeous Gordon you have to earn every vote. - howard mcsweeney1 likes this

 - Re post 109, a lot of door knocking has been done by the Labour candidates ( three wards) but because of dark evenings has had to be done during the day so of course there is less chance of people being at home. Usually elections are held in the spring but have no choice over by election dates.

 - #107 and #112.

I do not know how Pambrivio has entered into this. It is not her ward at all, being Tower Hamlets.

She might be joyful, for Labour getting its clammy hands on more power, within the Dover Town Council. What a mess they have made of that.

Also, I take serious issue with her, even entering anywhere delivering leaflets etc. There should be a prior warning to any residents of a Ward,or homes, outside of her remit, that she is coming close.

I have two wonderful dogs, who love me totally, and would protect me. For Pam Brivio to even put one toe on my driveway, I would require legal notice. She would be trespassing, and putting my dogs at risk of losing their lives, because of protecting their owner and their home.

There would be no mercy from the higher powers, or any criticism of pambrivio's leaflet pursuits.

The dog or dogs would take a journey, for their lethal injection. Just, for only protecting their home, that would be that.

So not happy at all to know pambrivio is or was, anywhere close to us.

 - Re the above post Cllr Brivo an experienced Councillor has been canvassing to support the Labour candidate. Why shouldn't the Labour members want to.increase their majority on the Town Council.Cllr Brivo also explained why they cannot canvass in the evenings.

I also think some of you excuse the pun are like a dog with a bone.So easy to snipe from a keyboard.Cllr Brivo is a very hard working Councillor, different political views to me but if you need an answer or a job done she is there.
Why do some have to get so personal.I have my critics no matter what I dosome people just have to have a go..To them I say if you can do better have a go .

 - We live in a democracy so we have to accept that some will knock on our doors or put leaflets through our letter box. Had another one from Labour a few minutes ago which was surprising as I have a poster in my window extolling the thoughts of Chairman Keef.

114 seems confused, yesterday wanting to know why no one had called and today saying the exact opposite.

 - Howard, #114 from Christine shows how fickle the public are and how a politician can never be right if you do not like them on a personal basis.

 - Fun and games outside the polling station in Belgrave Road this morning with the bus unable to get through. Luckily there was a Labour lady sitting outside collecting polling cards and she went inside and got one of the tellers to move her car.
