You already have this facility to choose the threads you want to read Peter, rather than resort to the 'off button' which many have chosen to do.
Also, another button would only cause more confusion among some members who currently have great difficulty in expressing themselves succinctly. The amount of ramblings some manage to achieve wouldn't be out of place in a Rose garden along with all the accompanying thorns!
A thank you is due to Chris for his efforts to 'sort out' the events of recent weeks, which with a more proactive approach on the part of moderators should produce a more balanced and enjoyable forum experience for many.
I think that the welcome changes that the Headmaster ( Chris Tutthill) , has instigated will assist in providing a more reasonable approach by forum posters, who have no wish to resort to near slanderous exchanges, which in turn will attract a more mature input from those who have the intellect to do so!
If I may make a constructive request Chris......would it be possible to introduce a spellcheck facility to assist posters and also a search facility to help to find threads that are not displayed on the fast moving cover page? This would make more sense of some postings and also help to ensure that postings can be made in the appropriate threads.

Do nothing and nothing happens.
