I probably have Neil, generally fed up with the knife being put in this forum, often by people who post on here and then ridicule it via another forum, but hey they are having "fun"

OK - I've kept quiet up til now but enough is enough.
Neil is so right comparing this to the playground - so right.
Keith Sansum, Keith Bibby and Reg Hansell - who the bloody hell do you think you are ???
Chris and Howard run this forum because they are intelligent, literate and know what they're doing. Who the hell do you think you are talking to them like you have? They have more knowledge in their collective little fingers than you lot do as a job lot. If you don't like it - go away - we certainly won't miss you. Your stupid childish comments do nothing for the forum except maybe put other people off joining us. Go play with your toys and stop boring the pants off us. Then maybe we can get back to our normal friendly forum.

There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

Jacqui
I thought it wouldn't be long before we heard from you,
now to get to you point in question,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I have no idea of the intelligence of Howard or Chris, nor really does it interest me, it's not, in my opinion what this forum is all about.
Nor do know(or want to know)if they have more knowledge, that also is of no interest to me.
There has been times that I have disagreed with your posts, but would never dream of asking you or anyone else to leave.
People choose to post or otherwise for a number of reasons, and its quite sad you have blinkered eyes on the wider problems within the Dover forum.
What I wont have is being singled out for the forum's problems.
Whilst your posts sometimes may have bored me over the years, I choose whether or not to contribute to them. that's what a healthy open forum is all about.
Still you have managed to attack a number of forumites over the years, I suppose im the latest.

time to draw a line under this, the decision has been made in the best interests of the forum so that others who have stopped posting or left may consider joining in again.

Hi Martin, I post on several fora without denigrating any. I try to keep my comments only to the subject on the relevant forum and, on occasion, if one of them are down will ask others on the fora that're up and running whether they are also having trouble with the one that's down.
Having said that it has recently, on here, become increasingly difficult to express an independent point of view without being a 'closet' or some other veiled epithet of choice and the bit bat tribalism has been really off putting from an increasingly limited number of contributors. I hope that the creation of a new area for those subjects which invite comments on party political lines will make a positive difference and marks a new advancement in the evolution of this site.

You are a knowledgeable and fair poster Neil and I was surprised at your comments this morning, which I thought was pouring oil on troubled waters. I was not referring to you re slating this forum elsewhere, hope we can agree on this if not the Peoples Port
