Has he actually done anything except have ideas and got himself in the papers for the wrong reason.
Chris Precious was excellent and at least he kept us informed with what was going on via his Facebook page.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Chris P to my mind was unquestionably the best Mayor since I moved here but Neil Rix has taken things forward in the town by getting DTC to commit a lot of their surplus money into buying up run down retail units in the town centre. The fact that the Town Team and Town Council are working together on projects speaks volumes for his ideas.

This place amazes me, it gives people the courage to say things they would never say to another person's face.

Nope, everything I say on here I'm happy to say to somebody's face, you'd run a mile if you came face to face with Neil Rix, McSweeney.
btw you never did tell us which Parliamentary Candidate threatened you with legal action and why.

It seems an odd to place a solar farm in a residential area.

Exactly, I'd be worried about vandalism. At least to get to the Guston site it involves a bit of a walk (with no parking!) to get there!

Looking at the picture on the kentonline link, it just seems to be a few rows of panels behind the houses to be built (if ever).

Noticed earlier there's some now solar panels on the site.
I wonder if the housing is still following?
The fire was in 2007 and it shut down long before that. So in Dover terms it's still a recently vacant site.
