#101 - only certain people want 'medals' thankfully people do it to look after our natural world and heritage for no reward

Been nice knowing you :)

i don't know if any volunteers turned up today i passed the wccp vehicle on the way up - the whole area was a quagmire, even the more chalky bits were treacherous.
don't think i have ever been soaked through as thoroughly as today.

the next one will be this coming wednesday the 12th at whinless down.
meet 10.15 am at noah's ark road near the boys grammar school.
the forecast is dry for most of the week but the pounding the heights have taken recently will mean that as many people as can be turn out to clear the scrub.
wccp do not expect people to commit to the whole day, any help is valued.

only 4 volunteers today, not altogether surprising with the minus zero conditions first thing and the proximity to christmas.
however a large amount of scrub was removed and set light to.
