no big surprise that tomorrow's work day at the drop redoubt has been cancelled due to the weather.

the next work day is this coming friday the 25th at high meadow, meet at the top of noah's ark road 10. 15 a.m. for scrub clearing.
weather looks a lot more promising.

thanks yet again for paul sampson of wccp for sending in pictorial evidence of today's task, 17 volunteers in all - 3 from veolia, 8 from pent valley school folkestone and 6 wccp regulars. certainly look like they had a good time in those pics, a work day was missed there recently because of the weather so such a large number would have made an impression today.

the next workday in dover will be scrub clearing on whinless down on tuesday the 5th of march, meeting in noahs ark road near the boys grammar school at 10. 15 am.

nearly forgot there is a work day tomorrow wenesday the 27th on the heights installing a gate. meet at 10.15 am between 121 and clarendon place.
malvern road is closed to traffic at present so drivers need to use either clarendon road or belgrave road. anyone coming by bus is best getting off at the stop before the vandalised tram shelter and walking up belgrave road.

just heard that the gate installation has been cancelled however you are cordially invited to join paul sampson at the drop redoubt, behind the bmw garage to cut and burn some scrub.
please note that north military road is closed at present so ways have to be sought to get there.

some bad news about south militry hill,its closed off as well,with di versions pointing to the a20.there are diver ted signs posted along the a20.
