Sunday 6th May. Helping the Hoe. Meet at site office, Samphire Hoe at 10.15am.
Tuesday 8th May. St Martins Battery Field. Site maintenance. Meet at the St Martins Battery Car Park at 10.15am.
Tuesday 15th May. Site maintenance and meadow cutting at High Meadow. Meet at the High Meadow Flats, end of Edred Road at 10.15am.

heard through the grapevine that there was a good turnout today at the hoe.
the weather forecast for tomorrow is much the same with a pleasant breeze to help those plucky folk who will be cleaning our river.
all meet outside morrison's at 10. 15 am.

the river dour is the recipient tomorrow, what parts to be worked on will be decided in the morning.

a big turn out of volunteers today, saw mandy and phil working the section near the riverside centre and k college.
they were delighted to realise that i had forgotten to take my camera out, hopefully we will get some pictures sent in.
another group were beavering away in pencester gardens where their work was cut out due to so many recent events there.

stumbled upon the volunteers by chance this morning, a few familiar faces there.

thanks jan the wccp website is full of information, not just work days but all sorts of stuff that we need to be aware of.
weekend walks are a must but now the holidays are here the green gang events are a must for mums and dads looking to keep their offspring involved and entertained without costing a small fortune.
