WOW!!! That's a bunch of very smart Hot Cars there, I love the thundering noise of them myself but draw the line at 6am

Good pix Pauli, you early bird you!
The Premier Inn's restaurant was competely packed to the rafters last night with these guys, not a free table in sight, so great business for them

It is an example of a "Bentley 3 litre Red Label Boat Tail (1921-29) Engine 2996cc"

Those 'Hot Rods' remind me of the Revell Automobile car kits I made as a youngster, I ended up sticking more of the kit to my fingers

#103 - Isn't that the car from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang?
A flying car would be great for when the seafront and A20 get gridlocked like they are again at the moment!

Similar Mike but no, I see Chris Evans now owns an original from one of my favourite films.

I was wondering how best to photograph this...literally hundreds of bicycles passing through this morning. Believe me the picture shows only a small section of them, I just couldnt fit them all in. Masses of 'em there were..like a plague of green locusts. What it was all about Gawd knows, but that Bradley Wiggins has a lot to answer for...!!lol!!?
The traffic, truck drivers, the lot, were completely perplexed.

This little fellow is in the Hotel carpark opposite. It's a TUK TUK. The third world wheels of legend. I've never seen one before other than in the movies...ie one similar featured greatly in one of those James Bonds set in India where the Indian tennis pro had a cameo role. Bashing and biffing all the baddies as it sped through the colourful streets of Delhi or wherever.
Imagine a brace of these in say..yellow.. whizzing through the streets of Dover ferrying tourists about mid summer..enormous fun
Looks like this one made it all the way from Cardiff !

Ahh but would it go up well in Dover? How is a TUK TUK with steep hills?
I can imagine the driver/tourist converstation now:
Where would you like to go?
Castle - No
Western Heights - NO
Langdon Heights - NO - May I suggest the Dover Museum...

Thats a heck of a link Tom. How do you find them. I see Joanna Lumley is behind Tuk Travels. Sounds good. As Joanna has reached sainthood status ..if she gives you the thumbs up than all must be good.

Lol! Can they not conquer a hillock or two? oh dear...ah well back to the drawing board. Didnt someone bring them in as a tourist accessory in Brighton a while back, its very flat in Brighton, however it didnt work out too well once the weather turned... but if they can make it all the way to the far east..

I have seen one parked on Hythe seafront that has coffee machines built into the back and was doing quite a trade.

They are low gears so would go up hills but slow.

I wonder how much these little Tuk Tuks are. If it was fairly modest I can see a business opportunity for someone in Dover whizzing the cruise passengers around...all presuming that it can go uphill of course. extra low gearing required. But nipping up to St Margarets along that delighful clifftop road with the gentle breeze whipping through yer curls and blowing the passengers sandwiches all over the place in the near open rear...would be great fun wouldnt it ?.....
