Vic
If you believe that UKIP can save the UK then by all means stand for that party.I admire you and your beliefs.
It isn't mine but what the hell do I know???So follow your calling ..go with it..at least its another day above ground which is better than an eternity of pushing up daisies.

I think therefore I am (not a Tory supporter)

If you had the Andrew Marr show on this morning on BBC1 you would have seen Lord Pearson of the UKIP saying if we come out of the EU it would do a greal saving to our Economy.
UKIP believes that by leaving the EU Great Britain will regain three essentil freedoms.
(1)Freedom of Action,ie No longer will our country have to grovel to the EU for permission to spend our own money to save our Post Offices.Car Plants etc.
(2)Freedom of Resources .
The UK will save an extra £604 billion a year in net cash.
(3)Freedom of the people. We will no longer be governed by an undemocratic and autocratic Union or ruled by its unelected bureaucrats, commissioners, multiple presidents and judges.
UKIP will give power back to Westminster and to the people through binding national and local referenda.
And that would mean to Dover the Public of Dover would get the vote on the sell off of our port.

Sid
Are you up for a little sporting bet?
Last time out, UKIP got 1252 votes in this constituency; I believe UKIP will fare better this time around. I say Vic will poll 1700 or more, you're saying 1200 or less....
A pint in The White Horse on May 7th says that Vic will get more than 1700 votes, in which case the pint's on you. If Vic polls less than 1200 votes, the pint is on me; if the count is anywhere between 1200 & 1700, the pint's on Jeanette! Don't tell her, though, she's a bit tight! (Only joking, Jeanette!!!

).
You up for that, Sid?
True friends stab you in the front.

my bet would be something between 2000 and 3000, enough to affect the result.

Paul there you go again trying to catch me out,I have been around far to long for that one.going back to our Manifesto which has been out now some weeks unlike yours or the reds.
UKIP will give power back to Westminster and to the people through binding national and local referenda and more effective, locally-elected representatives.
Great Britain will be free to choose a new positve vision for her future, free from the EUstraight-jacket.
The only way to bring about true change and make a radical, positive, and dramatic difference to the lives of the British people is for voters to support UKIP at the election.
These are the common sense policies that will help to deliver that true change.
Well Paul please try again,I am ready for it and look forward to it. Thank you.

Vic, don't understand what that means. Does it mean England will get a vote on English affairs like the Scots, Welsh , etc. on their matters.
Simple question Vic.
No catch.

Still at it Paul.
Be fair to England by introducing an"English Parliament"and ending the discriminatory Barnett formula which disadvantages English residents. There you are Paul you been waiting for me to say that,And i know what is coming next from you.

hand on heart, i have not got a clue paul.
i am not a political giant, like you and victor, i just get this vision of a television ad showing a bald bloke looking miserably into a mirror, then applying the formula, then grinning into the mirror with a shock of hair.
then a voice over(american accent) screaming "you too can look like this, don't stay as a slaphead".
money back if satisfaction not guaranteed.

I'll see Vic's answer that reply. I'm just a humble voter in search of knowledge.

Sorry about that, but I had to get my PC man round, I done soming wrong and could not get back in.
Right. Thank you for waiting..
The Barnett Forrmula.was originally designed as a temporary measure by the Treasury but has in fact been in operation for the last thirty years or so.
However, many critics of the formula argue that it,s operation actually gives Scotland approx 20%more funding than England.
This is blatantly unfair and its therefore about time this situation was addressed in order that England gets its fair share of public spending. I hope this is a help to you. Thank You.
