They spend a lot of money attempting their swims (flights over, the pilot and boat, accommodation, food and drink etc.) it would seem petty not to avail themselves of your facilities for a £1.00 a day - or as per Howards notice £10.00 per week (sounds like a Tesco offer !)

It is amazing as to how many of the swimmers choose to stay on the beach not wanting any facilities. The swimmers who frequent the Eastern side have been offered the centre facilities, however wish to stay put. Must be all part of the fun!
We will be putting a proper offer forward to them over the winter, so we will see what happens.Having a blast while living the dream
James Salmon - 5 September 2012 20:59190177I've just got in after a couple of hours dinghy sailing from the Sea Sports Centre this evening to complete my RYA Level 2 sailing course - 30 years after I first started sailing and a year short of collecting my state pension!
If anyone is vaguely thinking of taking it up then I say go for it - we have a superb facility on our doorstep and the staff there are brilliant - professional, friendly and endlessly enthusiastic even with an oldie like me.

i think you are right they seem to be quite happy roughing it and trying to get changed in public, reminds me of a mr bean episode.
a quid and a bit a day for a hot shower and a locker to put stuff in most people would jump at the chance.

the reply came back "no you get your own".
