I guess you guys are right. Perhaps we can blame global warming for both world wars, the Vietnam war, Crimean, Attila the hun, the war of the roses, the English civil war etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.
I guess we can blame it on every single act of violence since man discovered how to use a bone as a club.
Reg is showing his extreme gullibility by endlessly posting up unverified nonsense and certainly not peer reviewed puff pieces by pseudo scientists but if the end of the world makes him happy who am I to stop him?
Try reading this Reg and you might well find yourself capable of critical examination if you just try a little bit:
http://thepointman.wordpress.com/2013/08/02/why-would-anyone-believe-a-single-word-coming-out-of-their-mouth/
NB. For the extremely gullible out there who still blindly believe what the BBC tell them is the truth use a little common sense and try to think rationally. Take a look at, as an example, Kuwait. A hot country. A really, really, really hot country. Ask yourselves why crimes against the person are not among the highest in the world?

Extreme heatwaves are predicted as the new normal for British summers by 2040
Report calls for dramatic curbs in greenhouse gas emissions and warns of threat to human society
Global temperatures are climbing so rapidly that by 2040 Britain will spend up to a fifth of its
summer months in an extreme heatwave, a new report warns.

Unless something dramatic is done to curb the volume of greenhouse gas emissions widely
regarded as responsible for climate change, then conditions currently regarded as "extreme"
will become the "new normal" in the UK and most of the world by the end of the Century, the findings say.

Ha ha ha. Good one Reg. Here's another from the same paper thirteen years ago with the headline boldly stating:
"Snowfalls are now just a thing of the past".
"Britain's winter ends tomorrow with further indications of a striking environmental change: snow is starting to disappear from our lives.
"Sledges, snowmen, snowballs and the excitement of waking to find that the stuff has settled outside are all a rapidly diminishing part of Britain's culture, as warmer winters - which scientists are attributing to global climate change - produce not only fewer white Christmases, but fewer white Januaries and Februaries."

Don't worry Howard it's a bit like being on the film set of Invasion of the body snatchers. Those who don't take care and avoid those permanently taken over by the climate cult will eventually find themselves as one of them. I've discovered some of the pods but there are too many of them for me to deal with.
Safest way is to avoid the environmental sections of the guardian and independent and get your information from worthy sources.
Even Prince Charles is infected.

Come on Charlie Fracking is enroute to our ``patch``...where do you stand....?

Vivienne Westwood joins anti-fracking protest camp as 1,000-strong crowd descends on Balcombe
'I'm anti-fracking and I'm here to protest. There has been no debate,' she says
Up to 1,000 new protesters, including the fashion designer Dame Vivienne Westwood, started arriving
in Balcombe today as the three-week protest against the possibility of fracking at the West Sussex village
moved up a gear.
Like many of the existing protesters, the new influx of opponents plan to camp by the site for the next
five days and organisers were furiously pitching tents, bringing in food and building make-shift toilets
today, as dozens of extra police were drafted in.
Surrounded by activists, Dame Westwood called for a public debate on fracking, which she said
could store up problems for decades to come if allowed to proceed.
"I'm anti-fracking and I'm here to protest. There has been no debate. They are trying to rush this
thing through, for what?"
"I'm sure it's bad and the only people who are going to benefit from it is this energy company....
They all have vested interests. It's a kind of club....Who do they [the government] think they are
when I would say most of the country is really against fracking, particularly at this point in time,
when we don't know what's at stake," she said.
The latest protesters, most of whom belong to a coalition called No Dash For Gas, will add to a
core of about 200 protesters who started picketing the gate last month and have promised to
take "direct action" rumoured to include a plan to invade the site.

Quite right Reg. Internationally renowned climatologist Vivienne Westwood, who studied applied shale gas production and lower troposphere temperature statistics at the University of life Oxford, is indeed spreading the word and issuing advice and guidance to the brave and equally well informed hydraulic fracturing experts at the climate camp at Balcombe.
In recent years, despite laws made to tackle theft from the elderly via cold calling phone scams, Westwood has been hoodwinked into donating £1 million into a climate fund.
Well she knows what she's talking about with her faultless credentials in the field of climatology.
In other news bird charity the RSPB, who receive millions from the government as well as the EU so some would suggest the name charity is a misnomer, has voiced their concerns against the safe method of hydraulic fracturing against all scientific evidence stating that they are opposed because of the threat to wildlife and the climate.
Think of this next time you see one of their fundraisers rattling the tin in order to separate you from your hard earned cash.

Anti-fracking campaigners shut down Cuadrilla HQ
Activists target energy company's headquarters and its PR firm Bell Pottinger in protest at plans
to drill for shale gas
A protester holding a sign stands in front of the police line, during a march against fracking
near the Cuadrilla Resources site in Balcombe West Sussex,
Twenty protesters have shut down the headquarters of fracking company Cuadrilla by blockading it
with their bodies. There are two people inside the building in Lichfield, Staffordshire, and they are
hanging banners off it saying "Reclaim the Power" and "Power to the People".
Six campaigners also superglued themselves on Monday morning to the London headquarters of
Bell Pottinger, the PR company employed by Cuadrilla, raising a banner above the entrance calling
the firm "fracking liars".

Green MP Caroline Lucas arrested as anti-fracking protests reach fever pitch
First day of 'mass civil disobedience' sees shows of dissent at Balcombe and related sites
The Green party MP Caroline Lucas was arrested yesterday for her part in one of a series of
anti-fracking protests which took place across the country. She was among several people arrested
outside the gates of the energy firm Cuadrilla's drilling site in Balcombe, West Sussex.
The day of action saw separate protests at the firm's offices in Lichfield, Staffordshire; the offices
of the PR firm Bell Pottinger, who represent Cuadrilla; the constituency office of the Paymaster
General, Francis Maude, whose Horsham constituency includes Balcombe; and the home of George
Osborne's father-in-law Lord Howell, a former energy minister.
It was the first of two days of "mass civil disobedience" that campaigners have said they will carry out
to protest at the used of the controversial method of shale gas extraction known as fracking,
or hydraulic fracturing.
