Hmmmn, odd comment that. Don't you have any opinions on anything? If you do so whereabouts do you gather the information for you to hold those opinions? If you do hold an opinion on any subject does that make you a self proclaimed expert on the subject in hand?
As I alluded to earlier check out the self proclaimed expertise of those pushing this religion. There is no expertise. Every single cut and paste jobby from Reg originates from someone who is not a climate scientist. Every single one and you have the temerity to question my credentials?
LOL.

i read all the stuff for and against man made climate change and am very cynical about the issue.
nobody can possibly know whether climate change is man made as their is no precedent - so basically there is no such thing as a climate change scientist.

You have indicated your view that climate change is not an issue
which of course is your right
Others have indicated the climate change could well affect future generations
2 very different points of view
only one can be correct

no keith - please read the various posts i have made, their is a vast difference between climate change and man made climate change.
the point i made about climate change scientists is that some believe it is man made and some do not.
if we go along with the man made issue this will hit the most vulnerable in society with fuel bills continuing to rise.

World's biggest offshore wind farm off English coast approved
Energy Secretary Ed Davey has given development consent for what is planned to be the
world's largest offshore wind farm, a project which should see 288 turbines located off
Lincolnshire and Norfolk. The Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm consent also includes on and
offshore sub-stations, meteorological stations and underwater cabling.
The scheme was examined as a nationally significant infrastructure project by the
Planning Inspectorate.
Chief executive Sir Michael Pitt said. "This was the largest offshore wind energy application
to be examined by the Planning Inspectorate and required a Panel of three Examining Inspectors
who were given the task of considering the evidence put to them by the interested parties.
"The examination of the application was completed within the timescales prescribed in the
Planning Act and a recommendation made to the Energy Secretary. His decision supported
their recommendation."
Meanwhile, the Inspectorate has announced that the application from Channel Energy Ltd
for its proposed Atlantic Array offshore wind farm has been accepted, by the Secretary of State
for Communities and Local Government, for examination.

Methane meltdown: The Arctic timebomb that could cost us $60trn
Release of gas trapped for thousands of years beneath frozen permafrost of Arctic is one of the
most dangerous 'feedback' consequences of rapid warming
A scientific assessment of the costs associated with the release of Arctic methane into the atmosphere
has found that the financial consequences to the world would almost equal the entire global
economic output of one year.
Scientists and economists said that the release of methane trapped for thousands of years
beneath the frozen permafrost of the Arctic is one of the most dangerous "feedback" consequences
of the rapid warming of the region, which has seen sea ice diminish by more than a third since the 1970s;

Says who?

As usual Reg you choose quotes from those who are not qualified in the science of climate. The author of the report, Professor Gail Whiteman, has no qualifications in the field but instead holds a Phd in business. That is so funny when you keep questioning my credentials. I guess if the new baby George were to warn of the end of the world due to melting ice no doubt you would copy and paste a quote from him.
The other problem with the report is that it uses the same models as the discredited Stern review. Nuff said on that but there are always those gullible enough to believe what the big boys from the remove tell them.
Must try harder.
