The tree was planted in 1883 any it isn't that big in this image so suggest turn of the century (when Vic was about 10

I'm sure that is Vic leaning against the railing
Colette will love that one when she recovers from a very nasty dose of flu. She has a lot of news on Connaught Park, lots of little green shoots to report back on, but she was struck down with this horrible flu bug a week ago. Doctor has confined her to bed and she is struggling at the moment to even stand up. Hopefully she will start feeling a bit better soon and update you all.

Hope she gets well soon,back to the park,my plan is the only way it will get back to what it was 40years ago.it needs funds alots of it,my plan will do just that.

Flu makes you feel awful so I hope she recovers soon.
The flu jab is a wonderful thing I don't seem to even get that bad cold that seemed to occur all too frequently.

strange that barry,both me and the wife have had flu jabs with no side effects.
i hope colette gets better soon.

last week a group of doctors said that overall the flu jab was a waste of time. clearly works with some though reading comments over the years on here.
out of interest brian how does a young blade like you qualify for one?
