I have read UKIP's constiution and manifesto(coudn't sleep lol) and i'm fully aware of ukip's policies.
But Vic feels that message has not reached the very people he wants to vote him in.
So instead of working on this, Vic made the decision to tel everyone that UKIP are not beieved by locals, and the Dover District population still see UKIP as a one policy party.(vics words)
Maybe Mr farrage's posting woud be to make it things clear on where ukip are
on vic and indy, and if mr farrage believes locals won't vote for a ukip candidate.

19:5994218Yes There are still alot of the public out there thinking that UKIP is all about geting out of the EU and nothing more,But we know that is not true anymore yes afew years ago that was right to think that but not now,But is is very hard to get that view over.

20:0394219Howard, Mr. Farage might post a view of his own on Dover Forum!

20:1794224i read up on it at the time, john buckley a party stalwart also gave a good posting on policies in the run up to the general election.
he hasn't posted since, i heard that he defected to the yellows and invested in a pair of sandals and a wardrobe full of aran sweaters.
i might be mixing him up with someone else though.

00:4494260Howard, I think that moderators on a forum ought to be (or appear to be) politically neutral. Taking the p155 out of the lib dems is hardly neutral. And Vic, waiting for Farage to post is like waiting for Godot.

01:0494265How many candidates will be standing for UKIP in Dover in May?
Meanwhile I've accomplished my mission for the Pledge Team, and am awaiting feed-back. Hope to hear from them soon.

08:1494284Ahhh nooo Im afraid we have opinions Peter.. as we wouldnt get anyone to do it.. just to sit here like a robot. How boring would that be. Absorb everyone elses opinion and have none of your own..oooh nooo. In an ideal world maybe but this isnt it.
But we broadly try to oversee things neutrally on the big issues if thats any consolation.

08:2294289From my point of view, i think paulb and others have a right to a view, and keep a very good balance.
Of course if paulb had different leanings this probably wouldn't even be raised

16:1694342I am very happy with the way the site is moderated and fail to understand Peter's sudden dislike, maybe he had had a bad day.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.
