I didn't really know him that well but I met him a few years ago in Poundland of all places.I introduced myself and we had quite a good chat outside the shop.I often used to see him leaning on the railings outside the Golden lion watching the world go by.I enjoyed his posts on here.I shall genuinely miss him.

Thank you for all the kind words I know Howard would appreciate them
Once further arrangements are in place I hope lots will attend
I do intend over the next month or so highlight a little more on Howard and how he enlightened so many people
Both in his earlier years in London and
In Dover

I will not attend but hope all goes well, if that is the right phrase.
I am surprised there have been so few comments on here from other members but if they were to be like some I read on FB maybe just as well, be positive or keep quiet on a thread like this.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Hi jan
In reply to your comments
The reason there are fewer posts is that in consultation with Chris we decided to restrict the posts to those that knew him
That said we have dealt with the many complex issues. And anyone is welcome now to pay tribute on here to Howard if they so wished
I'm sure that would help those close to him

Jan,
Condolences direct to the family seemed more appropriate to many that really knew Harold.
