Where is the money to come from?
Do I not read here and there that many companies are cash rich at the moment?
Where is the money to come from?
If wages and benefits are to be reduced, and profits and bonuses sought. Where will the consumers come from?
Are Porche and Ferrari the only two manufactures left?
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

Yet another `U` turn is pending.Government had intended to raise Rail fares by 5%
and 10 % but there has been a huge outcry which has resulted in Transport minister
Justine Greening to ask for government money to keep fares down.
Transport Campaigners pointed out the government backed down when when car
commuters demonstrated against fuel increases and now they need to do the same for
rail users.

I didnt see anything about a u-turn on this one Reg. In fact the fares go up by 3% over inflation ( RPI) which calculates out at 6.2% according to the BBC. The BBC website is showing that its all going ahead in January. I think the story they give us as to why the need for 3% over and above RPI is due to the massive investment needed across the network.
Perhaps if they held back on that extra 3% in these straightened times..well it might be a good idea.

G4S staff to help police investigations.Company in Olympics security fiasco are
recruiting in Warwickshire which has produced calls from two ministers Hammond and
Hunt to rethink use of private companies where public protection is paramount.
The people `recruited`will be carrying out investigations for a police force, with duties
that include house to house inquiries, giving evidence in court and undertaking
``sensitive high-profile cases under limited supervision !!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
The news comes as two ministers said the G4S failings at the Olympics had caused
them to think again about how private contractors should be used.
The ``think again`` is reinforced by the use of a private company whose failure of
their Olympic contract was saved by using police forces and the army to carryout their
duties.....who will save them if they default again.????
If we need people to work on `sensitive high-profile cases it should be carried out by
fully intergrated police officers.
Policing should be for public protection, not for profit......

the horse has bolted on this one, more and more formerly and currently police duties will go out to private tender.
once the current round of police cuts finishes, figures will be looked at to see how more savings can be made.

The Shires are unhappy with Osborne over rail fare hike. They insist on a `U` turn.
When Osborne`s anti `Big Society` decisions involves the general public little happens when they
complain but when the Shires kick up a stink a `U` turn is possible.
In the meantime Rail Chiefs are expecting to be awarded Big Bonuses.
Is this the way to run a Dance Hall ?

the shires were up in arms over hs2 but seemed to die down quickly, people make a lot of noise over continually rising rail fares but the price hikes continue.

this issue totally baffles me, surely the work should be marked solely on the basis of quality not on some sort of quota system.

Pitman Training informed me that my English and maths knowledge were at least equivalent to "o" level grade and so there was no need to do a course in these subjects.
What they didn't find out is that, in my case, maths involves the removal of gloves and slippers for essential additions and subtractions.

New Poll shows voters want Cameron to sack Osborne in reshuffle. He is now more
unpopular than Cleggy and 44 % Tory voters believe he is doing a bad job with the
economy.
Cameron now appears to have too many problems to survive a full term.....
