1; I have always said we have to many councils/cllrs
2; I have always said national govt of all colours needs radicall reform and stop wastage
3; yes I did pack up smoking some 25 years ago and although its everyones choice or not I don't wish these days to
be around smokers but that's my choice to!!
4; not bad for starters

David
im on way to work so cant answer fully
but food for thought
1; I don't do tradition although others do at the moment so we have all the associated costs that go with the house of commons/lords, having visited the place many times to lobby both conservative and labour MP's I can see from the outside just
how outdated it all is, and so a lot of the costly pomp and ceremony could save a fair bit.
2; I would like to see a reduction in the number of MP's but not along political grounds like the tories propose just to keep
in power, but taking the politics out of it, but sadly all political parties will fight against such change
3; This is like when the town council was formed, in my view a great idea to have decisions made as local as possible
but then the KCC and DDC fought to stay in place political parties just fighting to stay in existence rather than whats best
for Dover.
I agued with my own leader who at that time controlled DDC and had for some years, he got to cosy and only looked
at labour always winning rather than the bigger picture.
anyway I must go
cant pay the bills unless I get to work lol
