I think the colour is horrible, but I suppose we will all get used to it in time.

Brian, how can you call it a dull corner with the epicurean delights of the Dovorian right opposite?

Great news today for the drinkers of Dover! The White Horse getting back on line, this can only be good news as I am sure I'm not alone in thinking that the Horse was going to stay closed. And the Golden Lion soon to be back in trade as well, I don't what colour they paint it, an open pub is better then a closed one! I hear that the Kingfisher (Cherrytree as was) is to be a betting shop and flats, is that right?

I still think the terracotta and yellow colour scheme is horrible, but it does look inviting.

the next question is " what about the signs", at present they clash with the overall ambience.

There's been movement at Falstaff, perhaps that's going to re-open?
Did the White Horse re-open?

been past the falstaff a few times recently and have not seen the signs of life that others have, as we can see here it looks like fixtures and fittings have been delivered to the colourful "golden lion".

Rumour control says that a local restaurant owner has taken on the GL, any other offers? And any news on the Horse?
