It would be good to see the White Horse up and running again, a great inn with an interesting history. The last time I had a meal there was when Jack came over from the 'Antipodes' and very nice it was too, Beef or Kangaroo Wellington if I remember rightly

He has made it clear he is not interested whilst it is owned by Enterprise Inns, there are 3 other interested parties I am aware of, who like Mr G are only interested if it is freehold.

Just got back after a week away to see they've painted the Golden Lion bright orange! Dear lord, I hope it's just an undercoat! I also heard it's going to be a wine bar. That should be interesting!
I think we are all guinea pigs in the middle of an experiment for which they have forgotten to set up a control group!

Well it certainly shows up which is the idea I suppose but I think it looks down market and tacky and would not encourage me to cross the threshold. Sorry to those involved if they read this.
