Alex can't unfriend me as I never accepted his friend invitation. All my facebook friends are people I know personally and who use their real names. Hence- no Alexander British. And no Max Headroom either.

Peter never received a friend invitation from me!
I have never requested anyone's friendship on facebook, and have only accepted other people's requests, including that which Barry had made.
That is the only one I have ever unfriended, as it is not something I take lightly.
People read the Forum, and Barry's allegations could be potentially damaging to me, for which reason I need to defend myself in no uncertain terms.
And it has been going on for quite some time too.

Love it - yet another thread that has morphed into a Whitehall Farce

109, Alex, almost every time I log on to facebook I am presented with your handsome physiognomie, draped in an Islamic-type hood, and a message stating : do you want to be friends with Alexander British (or similar text). It tells me how many mutual friends we have and encourages me to befriend you. I accept that you may not have initiated the friend request.

Peter, that is something new on Facebook, as I too have been recently receiving messages on Facebook if I wish to be friends with MPs whom I have never known of.
One such request actually hit my email box, and, being curious as I am, I sussed out that these were mutual friends of Barry W.
In fact these are facebook-generated attempts to befriend people with other people's friends.
This too must be your case, because, as said, being shy, I never request friendships on facebook.
The baffling thing about Barry's idea in previous posts here, is that he thinks I have dark secrets and plans hidden away. In reality, I've been stating what I believe Gov. should do, which is a democratically elected government, and the only conclusion I can come to, at this point, is that Barry is wondering whether Gov. is listening to what I've been suggesting, and might start making a Wealth Law.
The Government knows I'm not aspiring at becoming a dictator, as I have in the past had contacts with ministerial offices. I've always used open cards, and have no dark secrets hidden away.
Anyone who's come across my public writings on the Web will know that I believe in Democracy and Constitution, and in the elected House of Commons.
Never in my life have I sought illegal ways of obtaining power!
Hopefully Barry is reading this and taking note!

blimey, where is this thread going???????????????
whilst alexander may wish to exclude people on his facebook(in all honestly i don't care whether he does or not, nor do i care if face book never existed again, its true fantasy, and i realy don't wish to know who's baking a cake at the time of writing on facebook lol
getting back to the thread;
its barryw may not choose his words wisely, and comes across as putting down other posters who may disagree with him, i have to also add that barryw is just giving a view, nothing to do with controlling anyones lives, nothing to do with any need for legal challenges, nothing to do barry(nor would he ever) over my financial or my life,,,,,,it's just like all posters,,,,,,,,,,,,, a view
with barryw you have to take with a pinch of salt, he has a view which in the main i d

One reason I won't go on Facebook is if you're not careful with your settings they raid your email contacts and send out messages which might seem to be on your behalf to all your contacts who aren't already your friends inviting them to join. Whatever they say it's a security risk, if not embarrassing in some cases
