Bromley 2 : 2 Dover. A poor first half from Whites saw them go 2 down to an organised and committed Bromley, but a couple of tactical and player changes made for a cracking second half in which Dover drew level in added time and might also have taken all 3 points had a last minute goal not been disallowed for off-side.
A taste of the action at Hayes Lane (133 from Dover):

An old tactic of course, lull the opposition into a false sense of security.

Mainly Academy players for Dover, plus a couple from the first team. Presumably Chris Kinnear didn''t fancy the KSC this time round. Nevertheless, a poor result against a team 2 levels below.

Weird(or whatever your real name)
It appears Kent county football assoc wants this cup played where as the clubs themselves don't rate the cup, thus why Dover put it's 3rd team out.
Might be better if theKCFA would go along with it, to scrap this cup.

Dover 4 : 0 Hartlepool. Comprehensive win for Whites: up to 4th, and only 3 points off the lead. (Former fans' favourite and now Hartlepool midfielder, Nicky Deverdics, red-carded late in the game to cap a disappointing return to Crabble.)

Wrexham 0 : 0 Dover. A good point against the in-form Dragons. Whites climb one place to 3rd as none of the top eight teams managed a win.
This was the first match in a busy schedule, too, with five games in fifteen days. Next up, home to Maidstone on Boxing Day.
(Whites also saw off Eastbourne 3 : 0 last Saturday in the FA Trophy, the reward being a January second-round home tie against Marine FC, who play in the Northern Premier League.)

Shame they can't Guiseley correctly
The signs have been up for weeks like that, you think the club would have a sticker with the correct spelling over the name or something?

Dover 0 : 0 FC Halifax. A third draw in a row for Whites who, thanks to a combination of other results and postponements, climb one place to 4th. Worryingly they are now eight points off top spot and only three points above 8th, and since the four teams immediately below all have a game in hand, they could find themselves outside the play-off places shortly. Two wins in ten is certainly not promotion form.

Have to say I found that absolutely dire and not for the first time. Apparently “the lads are still learning”, think they should be called in then either for extra lessons or detention!
Where is Ricky Miller when you need him!?

Maidstone 2 : 2 Dover. Stones score in the last minute as Whites fail to break their draw habit. Other results mean they stay in 4th place (on goal difference), now nine points off top spot.

Dover 1 : 2 Aldershot. Over the last ten games that's now 21 points dropped out of a possible 30 or, if you're reading with your rose-tinted glasses on, 9 points gained out of a possible 30 (except, it doesn't look good either way).

They didn't deserve to lose today though. I thought Dover were the best team for large parts of the game. It didn't help that the goalkeeper had a bit of a 'mare.

Dover 4 : 3 Marine. Whites survive a late scare to progress to the last sixteen in the FA Trophy.
Meanwhile, in the league they drop to 7th on goal difference after other games midweek and today.
