Ah! jeez Pauli, I was praying with you for it to end, the agony of it all!!! It looked to me that the real Irish team just didn't turn up and someone went out into the street and rounded up some blokes to play in their stead

Its all over now for Eire, not to sure I wanna watch them play on Monday against the Italians
That sword was sure sharp and painful Paul
Good luck to England tonight

england certainly like to live life on the edge
evn making it hard for themselves against a very ordinary sweden side
but hey they got the 3 points
level top its in there own hands now to get to last 8

Come on Keith it was quite a good game, we used to give up once we went behind at least we came back and won. Just think it could be alot worse you could support Ireland.

Oops thats me banned, sorry Paul honest.

couldn't fault either side in an excellent game, three goals out of the top drawer from england.
perfectly timed substitutions from roy hodgson.

sorry just trying to be realistic
sweden were very ordinary
yes unlike past years england did come from behind and scored 2 great goals
but in reality against a very ordinary sweden side

First time we have got a result against them in a very long time, 20,000 Swedes in the Stadium roaring them on, I would say a very good result. What does Roy do now about Rooney? got to be a case for leaving him on the bench.

apparently the players want him back, plus he is champing at the bit.
hodgson has a difficult decision on who to leave on the bench, someone will be disappointed.

lol!! Harry you cheeky chappie.

Looks like now that the Russians are out. Thats a bad blow to the tournament as an excellent team. Is there something wrong with the system...they already beat the Czechs 4 - 1 yet the Czechs go through and they go out. I dunno.
I dont know about you guys but had withdrawal symptoms when they put both matches on at the same time. What was a chap to do with himself between 5 and 7.30...
Just waiting..waiting..waiting..watched yet another episode of the longest running horse-opera in history..Dads Army.
