Charlie - I am not associated with either DTC or DDC, I have a full time job in the City but give up what spare time I have in Dover to act as Secretary for the London Road Community Forum, I am also on the committee of the Dover Community Garden Project - I do this because whilst I fully appreciate what the Councils and in particular many of our individual Councillors do; lots of the little things we can do to make the community a better place are better delivered by volunteer organisations as they do not have to suffer the welter of bureaucratic nonsense that the councils are obliged to indulge in. I would commend you, with your clear enthusiasm and ideas to get involved in your local community forum or some other such body, you will genuinely make a difference."Dream as if you'll live forever. I accept you have to goodness and hope of Dover in your heart......however, it did upset me to hear of waste and folly, especially towards Christmas Cheer..
