I’m sure that the management and board don’t need to be told by people on this forum that their team is massively under-performing.

But the team isn't underperforming: it's performing to its level. And that's a big problem, since its level is below that of the National league.
Besides, nobody's telling the board anything, just as when a member says Boris Johnson's a jerk they're not telling that to the Conservative Party. It's a discussion forum.

Weird;
a true word you speak
but I'm sure the words will get back to them
Although from the board's point of view it's not something they didn't already know

There is no "board" really.
It's just Jim Parmenter who is in charge and makes decisions. I doubt anyone else has a say in the running of the cub.

#62, obviously I mean underperforming relative to its competitors and to the expectations of its fans. By your measure Theresa May is not underperforming.

Thank heavens there's no tiered league structure of PMs so we could find out. But in politics, as in business, an individual rises to his or her level of incompetence. And Mrs May has certainly risen to hers.

Karlos
That's probably part of the problem

A bit later than I expected, but it was coming:

CK's been an excellent manager over the years, but something's happened this season to change that. Jake Leberl to cover this Saturday. Maybe a bump for the Salford game, but I doubt that and suspect it'll be a romp for the moneyed north westerners.

I read somewhere that Salford were owned by a group ex Manure players.

Only half. The other 50% by a billionaire from Singapore. Obviously not quite in Dover's league.

Lost 4-1 in the end to a very good team.
Actually we thought Dover played quite well. They certainly played better than last time I was at Crabble.

Manure were 2 down after 10 minutes at home to winless Newcastle, maybe Jose will be available to take over the reins at Crabble?

Man Utd are 3-2 up now.
Andy Hessenthaler to become Dover manager (again).

Is that kosher about Hessenthaler, Karlos? Rumours were being debunked earlier.

Parmenter's not going to lauded for his creative thinking then.

Casting my mind back the Hess had a great record here but was lured back to Gillingham by the scallywag who had previously sacked him. Afterwards when Dover fans stepped on to dog toffee in the street they would exclaim "I have just trod on an Andy".

Hess was a great manager for Dover, brought in some excellent players, played attacking football and took us up the leagues, but tailed off in his final season, probably because he knew he was going at the end of it. But we were further down the pyramid back then and Hess has never really cut the mustard with any club since he left (though Eastleigh are creeping up the table). Nevertheless, second comings do sometimes work; CK's did, for a while at least.
