01:0279402Doesn't anybody read my posts, I mentioned nigh on 8 months ago that the chosen site would be the existing Buckland Hospital. Whether you approve of that site or not that is where it's going to be. The present main front building will remain, a lot of money has already been spent on refurbishment. The car park will be on the land just before the main entrance.
As far as Whitfield is concerned, that never was a serious option.

11:3779419Dave1, as far as I'm concerned, the hospital can be in Buckland, but when it is being built, and is functional, will this also create work for Dover and area, such as brick-layers and plumbers and window-fitters and whatever construction workers are needed, and when it comes to employing nurses and other personnel in the hospital?

12:2079430But will all of these workers be wearing hobnailed boots? will they march into work at 08-00hrs?
