Surprised that they got from Italy to Belgium so easily. Despite the Schengen agreement member states have been doing border checks due to recent terrorist activity.

Another reason to clamp down in Calais we don't need to import terrorists anymore now that we are growing our own. Doesn't say how many heart surgeons and scientists have been arrested.

Far too often we think refugees are only a European problem. Here's an international slant from the excellent BBC news in Pidgin :-

Interesting article in Speccie here:-
It is time to overhaul a system that is corrupt, dangerous and fails to help the most deserving.

Woo Hoo! More of the same! Move along the bus - Uber might be banned but the taxi-service for wet Africans is still up and running big time.

And so it continues ad infinitum and will continue to do so of course as our esteemed leaders, primarily the EU commission, who's main objective and function is to preserve their own privileged opulent lifestyle, can't really be bothered with mundane matters such as this. ( Anyone know what we actually pay these suited t*##*rs to do? )
To be honest, it's not that difficult a problem to resolve if the intent was there in the first instance, bearing in mind the various options that the EU has at its disposal. On the other hand, if it's their desire for Europe to be flooded with uncontrolled migration, perhaps to fit in with some "master plan" , ( who really knows! ) then they're achieving their aims and doing a first class job.
As an aside, that report also talked about the migrants being malnourished. I'm amazed that any of them coming from Africa could possibly be hungry bearing in mind the billions shovelled into that bottomless pit since the year dot. Surely all that dosh hasn't been misspent or misappropriated?

Doom laden forecast but there is only so much the security services can do. The lone wolf attacks happen so quickly that there is not much that can be done to stop them but security has to be stepped up to stop returning Jihadis from wreaking havoc here now that they have all but lost in the Middle East.

Kent County Council says its budget is
overspent by £4.5m because the authority has a large number of asylum children who have now left care but which it continues to have to support.

A couple of points here.
Firstly the current system asks councils to take some young asylum seekers but very few do which leaves Kent with the burden. It should be compulsory that each local authority plays their part.
Secondly allowing them to stay in foster care when they are old enough to leave is wrong costing the taxpayer more money.

With all this talk about 'Border Force facing Cuts' - it looks as though it's starting already in Maidstone!

Read the other day that a trucker had his lorry searched in France then again at Dover yet when he stopped at services he heard noises inside and called the police. About 20 blokes climbed out so when you add on those that arrive in small craft to quiet stretches of coastline the number of people here illegally is anyone's guess.
