24 stalls today, another 4 already booked for next week.
Come on townsfolk, the sun is shining, get down to the market to support local traders, they need you more than Tesco does.

Thanks Howard
More stalls today despite the bad weather, we've been there in the wind and rain since before 6.00.
One of the market traders has taken a unit in the Charlton Centre, so the idea that the market would bring outside business to Dover is coming to fruition.
Better not go on too much, I might be accused of being negative

Couldn't make it down this morning I'm afraid, problems with a ship in Australia.

I wonder if that is the clothing shop in Charlton Centre I saw being stocked yesterday, good news indeed David.

I popped down early afternoon and bought some supplies of the edible kind, bread, chutney and some fudge. I seem to be be feeling a little peckish, cannot understand why

If you have not tried that fudge yet Barry, it melts in the mouth much to fast, it is wonderful,

Bought a lovely (netted) wild rabbit from Sue's Seafood and Game stall. Sue's mum cut it up into portions for us and it made a lovely rabbit in cider casserole!

If everyone comes next week, we have 21 stalls booked. Rather glad we are not out today in this wind though!
