15:3084204i was wondering what the turn out will be, what with the weather forecast being not good for the second part of the week and people being busy with preparations for christmas.
i would hazard a guess of about 15%.

17:1284221JHG, even a long day comes to an end, and yesterday's situation can change! Passing again through Elms Vale and Maxton I never saw a UKIP leaflet out on the pavement. I also doubt you will see any out on the pavement in Tower Hamlets.

19:4384253Yes the blues and reds have had it their own way far to long and you will see more and more of UKIP coming into more of the local areas.

19:4684255doubt that people will see ukip as local election material vic, the general perception is that of a national party.
i have to admit to admiration that it is only you and alex doing all the leafletting over such a wide area.

19:5884258Keith that is not so ,we can cover all the area but have we got the leaflets to do that, only time will tell. But we will do our best.

And all we have to say is on the leaflets .

20:1684259two strands to the answer vic
firstly as you say your party may not have enough leaflets therefore you wont reach many people(notice you didnt reply to canvassing)
secondly
believe me i'v leafleted for the 25 years of elections that i was involved in
and there is no way 2 people could cover the whole of the dover ward
thirdly
as a matter of interest the labour party has had activists from thanet, and as far away as gravesham leafleting/canvassing

20:2784261Yes I did Keith.I said"It is all on our Leaflets.I do not go ringing on doors or asking anyone for their votes,If they come out to me,and they do then Yes I will tell them more about myself or the party. The public will make up their own minds without me tell why they should vote for me or UKIP. The Reds and the blues have been going round the streets for a very long time, and the members are set in their ways on which party to vote for, but now UKIP is here and to stay to ,we are and will take more votes off the two main partys as the years move on,and we will get local cllrs and I hope to be the first one.
