Ha, the 6.30 bulletin was cancelled because of the fire alarm going off in the Tun Wells studio.

Looking at the news clip of the stone throwing. Why did the police not attempt to stop the hooligan, the useless lot just stood there watching him.

Good question Jan not very long ago a young chap was tazered in Market Square as he was unruly and getting out of hand by an ordinary police officer, tazer a few of the dangerous ones on Saturday would have had an effect on the others.

I have just had a long conversation with Charlie in which I asked him to inform the Home Secretary, the Police Minister, the Kent Police and Crime Commissioner and the Chief Constable that if Kent Police allow another such march to go ahead, they will face several thousand Dovorians sitting in the road in a peaceful assembly along the march route.
All those in favour say 'Aye'.

Let me get this straight, we sit in the road unprotected, the thugs come along and hurl everything at us that comes to hand.
Charlie then issues a statement that it shouldn't have happened and the Chief Constable says it was all handled perfectly well using the correct procedures. Considering we are miles from the nearest A & E it doesn't seem a a good idea.

We are armed with cameras. Actually I doubt it will happen, the chief Constable wouldn't dare let another March go ahead if he thought he had several thousand more protestors sitting singing hymns to deal with.

Definitely not! You'll get arrested immediately for obstructing the highway

If you don't get arrested for trying to brain someone with a paving slab you certainly won't get arrested for a small bit of civil disobedience.
