That's the point, Keith B.
About one and a half years ago, Farage prided himself with being a real Thatcher admirer.
There is no political party that stands up for the working people.
UKIP excluded themselves by default with Farage's nonsense, and Labour do so anyway.
All the big political parties have some big sponsors and they do what these sponsors say.
These sponsors all dictate the same agenda to the political parties.
Unless you see this, you will not understand the rood of the dilemma.
They all dance to the same tune.
You want to get our of politics, Keith.
Abandoning the ballot box is the best way to do so, that way they can't say you voted for them.

It appears that Umunna has chuckad his weight behind Liz Kendall for leader and to my mind she stands out amongst the candidates. Andy Burnham and Yvette Cooper have been around for a fair old time keeping their noses clean to get promotion but neither has the charisma or drive to actually lead a party or country in my view.

Excellent article that will be lost on the metropolitan elite that have taken over the party. Back in the early 80's I went to a public meeting in Wanstead called by Ken Livingstone where he warned about how things would go in the future. Firstly multinationals would move factories around to get the best grants and the lower wages, then poorer countries would be admitted to bring wages down all round, finally there would be free movement of labour so that big businesses did not have the problem of moving around.

It looks like the left get told what to think rather than analysing the facts.
A bit similar to the mass brain washing in North Korea, all the free thinker removed or side-lined from the party

The Unite union has thrown its weight behind Jeremy Corbyn and some pundits are suggesting he could win the leadership battle.

That would be like putting a dying animal out of it's misery for the labour party!

Seems about right Reg, the only candidate that I can see winning back lost support is Liz Kendall.

Immigration and ignorance of the wage competition dumped on their core ex voters sunk the labour party.
Their still in denial over it .

The people's party looks to be in its death throes with the leadership backing the welfare cuts,I agree with the benefits cap(could even be lower) but taking money away from the working poor is not the party used to be about.

"Taking money away from the working poor"? You sound like a Labour pamphlet, Howard.

The whole thing has descended into farce with Tony Blair warning of the disintegration of the party if Jeremy Corbyn wins. I can't see how he is wrong with the latter, his main support comes from people who dream of an age of utopian socialism that never was. Blair dragged his party from the past and won 3 general elections - best to listen to someone with that track record.
Today Lord Prescott joined in criticising Blair over Iraq, blaming the war for the party going downhill, the thing is the public are associate Blair with Iraq and not the party.

I associate Blair with Labour first, pushy wife second, money grabbing third while warmongering comes fourth.
I should think the best thing for Labour would be to give Tony Blair a gagging order.

I would put war-mongering 1st; pushy wife second; money-grabbing third and Labour 4th.

They are bound to get desperate when they know they are unlikely to win.
Roger, I put Labour first as that was the party he was supposed to represent in Parliament.

Yes, I appreciate that Jan, I put war-mongering first as that is what think of, when I think of Tony Blair. I guess there's no right or wrong way to look at him, just a view or opinion.
