Keith,
Do you mean you're unsure if their policy is opposition to gay marriage (maybe it isn't, that is my impression though)?
Or unsure if gay marriage will become an accepted norm a few years from now?

Peter has only been here five minutes and wants to take legal action.
The next few months will be interesting - could be like reruns of "Rumpole of the bailey".

Howard
you will recall other posters who have tried to silence people in the past
so much for openness

Mr Robinson and Mr. Carroll were told by the Police not to enter Tower Hamlets.
As they approached said area, two men attacked Mr. Carroll.
While the Police wrestled with the assailants, Mr. Robinson and Mr.Carroll walked on - and were placed under arrest by a Police Officer. They were then taken into Police custody.
They were carrying flowers.
This happened in London!

Andrew, marriage is only between man and woman.
Is already clear in the word itself!
I will never be bullied, subdued or otherwise coerced into reneging this fact!
It's part of my Christian Faith.
I cannot be persecuted in Britain for holding to the Christian Faith.

I remember being contacted with a circular email back in 2010 by a local UKIP chairman informing that we had to campaign against the BNP.
I flatly refused, as this had never been part of any contract I had made.
I do not have to campaign against the BNP.

If you mean myself that is a outright lie,I have and never would do, say or act or aske anyone to campaign against a movement that I know nothing about.Campaigns by UKIP have only been done in the open like all other partys, and mosty at Election times,so keep to true remarks and postings and not make them up as you go along

Not you, Vic.
It's not a made-up statement, but it was another chairman.
As said, I flatly refused, as it was not part of any prior agreement or contract.
I was mainly interested in local issues concerning Dover, and considered a campaign against BNP an alien intrusion in a quiet and idealised world here in Coastal Kent.
In fact it was an insult against my intellect.

Some interesting comments here so lets digest a few;
Alexander appears to be saying he has no issues with the BNP that's interesting
even in alexanders own post he says the police asked these 2 guys NOT to go for there own safety to a particular area
but still chose to do so. against police advice.
Then of course we have alexanders latest anti UKIP note, where he still stands out against peoples CHOICE should they wish to have a gay lifestyle.

Sorry but I have had to take my last post off on this one.I will not say anymore about it again sorry there was nothing rude or wrong it what I said, but feel this now gone above my head ,Again what post 228 and post 230 has nothing to with myself but no chairman local or anywhere would aske a member or a member of the Public to campaign in this way nor can I see any party UKIP,BLUES,REDS, infact all partys doing it.But he should take them both off or the forum do it.

How very true, sadly I find it happens far to often from so called intelligent people in all walks of life who have some authority.

the last election was lost well before the gillian duffy/gordon brown fiasco - the big surprise was when the blues failed to win and had to go cap in hand to the most left wing party to form a coalition.

Keith S., I neither publicly support BNP nor have a go at that party to defame them.
Here in Dover, the majority of people, and of young Dovorians, do not support any political party, and did not vote at the local elections, because they felt they had no reason to do so.
This was my issue before the May elections 2013 and it proved right.
The combined political parties here do not have the trust of the majority of people.

You Gov do a rolling daily poll of ALL parties.
If you check them online you can have the results text to you.
UKIP are currently polling between 10%-13%.
