But we still haven't got to the bottom of why you are showing us the UKIP manifesto and trying to get the UKIP leader here before 5th May when you are not a UKIP candidate and there are no others in this area.

Johm, I went today to visit someone, found a Labour leaflet on the floor behind the door, so took it upstairs with me.
I laid it on the table, and it dissapeared straight from the table before my eyes.
The comment: "I won't vote for Labour!"
I don't personally know anyone who would vote for Labour.
If I asked 600 people who they'll vote for, 550 would probably reply that they won't vote at all.

I think everyone(not vic though) is understanding that vic is NOT a UKIP candidate and so therefore this thread is a waste of postings as means nothing.

I do not agree members of the public that support UKIP and others that might be thinking of joining up will read it,and it is a very good manifesto.

VIC
I'm realy unsure if you are delibertly misleading the forum or just not understanding?
To make things clear (again)
Vic has no authority by UKIP TO ISSUE statements regarding candidates or UKIP policy in Dover as the Dover branch voted NOT to have anything to do with standing candidates in Dover.
so whilst the manifesto could be used across the country where UKIP is standing candidates, it has no relevance to Dover as there are no candidates so realy vic is wasting a thread.

Keith, the UKIP manifesto concerns UKIP policies nation-wide and at local level, so it is relevant to the upcoming local elections in May.
The UKIP local-gov. agenda is interesting.
The Tories also have a localism bill going, but although they have the set of tools and a Tory-Lib Government to support them being used, they do not do anything to put the localism bill proposals in to practice, apart from proposing some merger with Shepway that does not solve any local problem, either in Dover or in Shepway.
Labour has no localism bill at all!
Hence I see many people turning to vote for candidates who have the UKIP local-government agenda in front of them and who promote it, where-as the Tories simply refuse to implement their own localism bill, and Labour has none at all.

Unless of course that Vic is trying to get a UKIP member elected by the back door!

ALEXANDER/MAREK
its clear UKIP has no candidates so therefore anyone wanyting to vote for the supoport of the local UKIP agenda is unable to do so as they cant vote for candidates that are not there.
all they can do is vote for candidates that are standing.
the best way UKIP locally could have done a lot for dover would have been to fight seats in the may election.
they chose not to do so, therefore this thread has no relevance

Alexander, #93 is the pot calling the kettle black
We all keeping saying and you and Vic refuse to acknowledge that as there are no UKIP candidates in Dover district then no-one can vote for them no matter how many leaflets and posts you make, what is difficult in understanding that?
Unless of course you're both taking us for a ride and are just collecting material for a new and updated version of Citizen Smith based on UKIP activities - that would be fun

Just realised while I was making a cup of tea what comic delights there are in that idea, should have copyrighted it before I posted!
Wolfffiiieee! Yes Niiiiggge! With Vic the boxing welder candidate who came to disaster one day when he got his gloves mixed up, Alex the celtic bagpiper demanding independence for Dover Castle, crashing planes, Herr Rumpy Pumpy as the bad guy and the fuller Ms Fuller the PR girl for the glamour interest.
I wonder if we can combine casting calls with the Miss Dover selection night?

Another character description from the BBC Comedy website, I wonder who would fit this?
"They met in the pub owned by smooth local thug ('businessman') Harry Fenning, to whom Wolfie was publicly obsequious but privately scathing."
