As with most manifestos regardless of which party going back for years, full of unlikely promises also known as the saying full of wind and p**s.

Hi Peter - I hear you, hence writing "it didn't really want" for the Referendum, as in the Government and "we", the people, with the election.

Neil. The referendum pledge by Cameron was a sop to the Tory right wing in his ultimate Arrogance. The Numpty thought Remain would win it.
The complacent elite still don't understand that the genie of public opinion is out of the bottle, whether it is Brexit in 2016 or now with Corbyn.
It is worth noting that Gordon Brown had pact discussions with DUP in 2010.
Ed Miliband had discussions in 2015 with the DUP.
My advice to British politicians don't get involved with Northern Ireland politics especially with sectarian bigots of IRA/SinnFein and UDA/DUP.

I agree Peter, hanging onto power at all costs is not the way to win back disillusioned and potential Tory voters. Time to show that their existing dubious power is deserved if not let the country decide yet again even though many of us have had enough of elections and politicians.

Jan.I agree. Meanwhile Mother Theresa is still dithering and the financial markets are giving their verdict on her incompetence. Not Boris Johnson or Damien Green.Time for David Davis to take over now for damage limitation.

I think it was said by many leave voters over the referendum the results are in "put up or shut up" regardless of the right or wrong Theresa May just got a 43% (of the voting public) mandate to be our prime minister.

Reginald with the small mandate you have to carry the country with you.
The more people see T May the more they want a leadership election

While that makes absolutely no sense the simple fact Is more people want May as the countries PM than momentum puppet Corbyn.
Sure you and your comrades will stir as much as possible to make it harder for the conservatives but how about uniting behind our country instead,
might be a novel idea for a socialist?

According to bits and pieces of news coming out from the meeting of the 1922 committee there won't be a leadership contest, the MPs not being in a mood for it and the Pm was contrite but gave the impression of still being in charge.

Reginald I'm sure from your comments had Corbyn won a few more seats and got control you would have united behind him(not)
T May clearly made a tactical error and is being judged on it, many Tories waiting in the wings to stand once the election is called.
Some already attempting to put her down

Your 2nd point I fully agree with.
Your 1st is completely wrong I vote for the best interests of my country regardless of their flag I don't believe corby is the best thing for it.
I wouldn't be undermining him, i would be wanting him to get on with the more important job in hand, brexit! Which will have much further reaching consequences than who sits in no 10.

You might like to reconsider that comment Reg as two of the front runners to take over when Corbyn abdicates claim to be socialists and would be very insulted to be called unpatriotic. Dan Jarvis served for the Parachute Regiment in Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan, Clive lewis served for the Infantry in Afghanistan.
I happen to know five ex service personnel that saw action, 4 in Northern Ireland and 1 at a place called Goose Green in the South Atlanticand all of them would rather lick urine off of a stinging nettle rather than vote Conservative.

Dan was a fast track late entrant officer ,labour man from his youth and Clive doesn't count he was only a stab and lifelong union man.
But I'm not suggesting unpatriotic rather what is best for the country if that means a bit of personal suffering, then so be it.

A few short weeks ago people were predicting the end of the Labour party(not for the first time) now we hear the death knell being rung for the Tories despite them winning the most votes. The facts seem clear to me that the two main parties will have their ups and downs but will always be the first two. A third party is always needed for a protest vote, I think it way well soon be the Greens rather than the Lib Dems.
