10 February 2017 23:29324329Having spoken to Starmer I was really impressed. Far too intellectual and urbane to lead Labour Party unfortunately as would alienate core vote in spite of well deserved meritocratic rise from 'umble background to DPP and Head of CPS (he's got a Knighthood for Heaven's sake!)+ rather humourless and nowhere near 'blokey' enough. A great shame there are not more of his calibre in ALL parties.
Hot money still on Lewis who presses all the right buttons.
