I notice the rather nasty remarks are in full flow again, so much for the season of good will and all that.

What about him? (And by Jezza, do you mean Jeremy Corbyn? Just to be clear.)

It would appear that Jamie Reed MP thinks there's less chance of contamination form working close to a nuclear power station than close to Jezza!

Labour hope to win Copeland by-election by selecting working-class candidate with strong connections to the nuclear industry.

That's quite remarkable. Given that he was elected in twice by the party's membership (with huge, outright and increasing majorities) wouldn't it say more about the MPs and the local Labour parties not getting their message out there? The Guardian no longer seems to be backing Labour and has joined the Tory press. Aside from The Mirror, which national press outlet is spouting off anyone but the Tories message at the moment?

I'm not sure Labour have a message at the moment, certainly not one anybody can take seriously!

I don't know what they stand for anymore, the leadership makes noises but no thought out policies seem to be made. Corbyn comes across as having no passion or purpose that would excite ordinary people.

Labour stand for the working class ,unfortunately it’s the east European working class.
And any other ragass hanging of the Eurostar .

Much like anyone else about to leave their job the outgoing President can say what he really thinks instead of pussy footing around and being tactful. :)
