The Bishop wrote:#500 Just to be clear, is that the Tim Shipman who is the political editor of The Sunday Times newspaper? Who previously wrote for The Daily Mail as their deputy political editor?
#500 and #501 ...or would that be Tim Shipman who wrote for The Daily Express and had this to say about his virtuous journalism? "
It has been a privilege to contribute to the success of the Daily Mail over the last five years. Having worked for one organisation that believes in investing in journalism and robustly defending the freedom of the press I am thrilled to be joining another." Source:

And who is indisputably neutral as you can tell from this 2014 quote:
When asked whether he thinks Boris Johnson would be a good MP for Horncastle, he said, “Absolutely, I’m pushing it forward!"

Oh dear Your Grace. Whilst you might not like the messenger what about the message? Corbyn reverting to the usual lefty shroud waving mode.

Interesting that concept of being in touch with the people of Britain but never having anything to do with them. Isn't that why people say that politicians are out of touch, don't understand their lives, are only in it for themselves and never make a difference?
I suppose Mr Corbyn forgot to bang his drum when was awarded the Sean McBride Peace Award?

Compare and contrast?
The difference is that the left always see any tragedy as a photo opportunity to show how much they can 'show emotion'. We might be cretins but at least we have 'emotional intelligence'!
See Grenfell Tower etc.
I'm only surprised that after the recent tragedy at London Zoo no-one is asking for a meerkat to be represented on any investigative panel.

Some of us remember Private Eye issuing a "Thatchcard", in the event of a national tragedy victims didn't want the PM to fake a smile at their bed for the cameras.

Sometimes I wonder if you believe your own propaganda, Capt. By the way, are you a proponent of the Secondary School 'name calling' or 'card stacking' propaganda techniques. It's quite skilled, perhaps a hybrid of the two?

Meanwhile where's Jezza? He's been visiting Trotsky's (who was advocating violent revolution, the seizure of property and the destruction of capitalism long before John McDonnell was born!) house and grave for his Christmas hols!

Clutching at straws Bob, I have visited the shrine of St Francis of Assissi and Lenin's tomb and I am not a Fransiscan or a Communist, the term is tourism. I believe you visited Knock, the scene of a "miracle" but I doubt it was because you are a Catholic.

So Jeremy Corbyn thinks it is more important to go on a pilgrimage to Trotsky's grave than be in the UK to talk about the NHS winter crisis or the Iranian democracy protests. There's 'leadership'.
Meanwhile everyone has a go at Chris Grayling for being on official overseas visit instead of being here talking about rail fare rises announced months ago!

Firstly Jezza can do nothing about the NHS annual foul up whilst your party is in power, secondly Chris Grayling is the Transport Secretary, so why was he on a trade mission?
The Iranian thing is just a red kipper, nothing to do with us hence silence from the main parties.

Jezza is stuck between a rock and a hard place on this one but my guess is it will boost his party if he goes for staying in the single market/customs union and paying for the privilege, after all a party needs only 37% to govern.

According to the Sunday Times today moderate Labour MPs are facing deselection on the orders of the Trotskyite wing supported by a senior church figure. Must be true Murdoch journals never lie.
