Try as I might, I just cannot find a rhyme scheme in those verses. Neither do the lines scan. Is it modern?

Well it certainly wasn't Labour benches shouting for 'more' at the end of PMQs today Howard!
I believe we have passed 'peak-Corbyn' just as we have been through hula-hoops and Rubic cubes.
The children have got bored and moved on to something else.
Like Christmas, hopefully this has taught them that Utopia has limits.

The was an old salty dog from Kent's Deal,
Who struggled to get a grip of what's real,
His metaphorical boat,
Would barely stay afloat,
So attacked others in an effort to conceal.

Saying and being able to do are two completely different things.

Jezza talks a lot about the likelihood of a snap election and how everyone must be ready but they still haven't got any candidates sorted out in their 75 target seats. Lessons don't seem to have been learned, candidates have to be given time to get known locally. As far as I know our local party has still not chosen a candidate, maybe they think it is now a safe Tory seat?
