To put it bluntly the extremes of Tory and Labour are not really wanted or even needed and are a pain in the rear end.
One lot are selfish dreamers while the other lot are idealistic dreamers.

if we stay in a customs union we can't do trade deals outside the EU ,,can't see them selling this to the voters

I think it will be a vote winner Keith, Lib Dem supporters would switch their vote immediately as the issue is most important to them. Labour up until now have been worried about many of their core support in their Northern heartlands switching to UKIP making what were safe seats vulnerable to the Tories. UKIP won't have the resources to put up candidates next time around and those votes they had won't go to the Tories, they will either return to Labour or abstain.

BEFORE tax, Mr Bibby. So, will the other party leaders publish their P60s and Annual Tax Returns?

Only £1700 per/wk I take it all back he is the man of the people!
Nobody cares about our ministers tax returns we all know they earn good money!
It is just a cheap shot to imply wrong doing if they don't release them.

The point is about paying tax and NOT avoiding it. Let's see all the leaders annual returns.
I have to confess, I'm a fan of Norway's Tax Model in which everyone has their tax return published. It should be mandatory for all ESPECIALLY politicians.

Admittedly, though, state terrorists

The Tories and their supporters are in panic mode so will stoop to anything to hit Jezza with, the Express front page today was taken up with him parking on double yellow lines and driving a car that uses diesel.
