 - Hunting with dogs will be an issue for voters with Dave actually in favour of repealing the act. Farage has stated clearly that he is of the same mind but I don't think it is UKIP policy. I think a free vote in the commons would keep it outlawed although there are many infringements of the law.

 - If Ed Balls was to be believed, the government will have to shut the DWP, foreign office and cut a 3rd from social welfare, his announcements in a speech at RSA today, with one of the fastest u turns ever, immediately after the conference he said he didn't believe those would happen, but wasn't scaremongering!!!
And labour's pink union flag behind Balls was upside down

 - Balls and Osborne throw figures and percentages around that mean very little in real terms, what does seem certain is that defence spending will be cut as there are no votes in it.

 - Good news for the reds in the marginals despite national polls showing the main two parties neck and neck. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/conservative/11477508/Labour-ahead-in-key-marginals.html

 - Hadn't heard that but if so it defeats the object of the debate, there is already one lined up for 7 party leaders, this one should only be between the only two who can be Prime Minister after the election.

 - Political broadcasts in any form are to be avoided at all costs as they mean so little, a bunch of politicians who tend to exaggerate or lie but try to make us think they are our saviours from their opponents. I prefer to go by how they act over a long period of time not a few media hogging moments. - -----------------------------------------------------------------------
I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

 - I saw a bit of the debate and thought that Dave was very evasive and had to use all his PR knowledge and experience to get by.

 - They're not plans drawn up by Conservatives, just ideas from civil servants.

Most people agree with welfare cuts, until they affect them. Any cut must be justified though and Labour have said they will make cuts, but not as deep, but for longer, so some will suffer slightly less, but for a longer period under Labour.

People will have a choice: slightly bigger cuts, but for a shorter period, or less cuts and be hard up for longer. At least people know that under a Conservative Government their money - the taxes they pay, will be better looked after and not wasted as it always has been by Labour - locally and Nationally.
