you are right if we had less parish councils there would not be the need for so many clerks ,some of the parish,s like River are right next to each other even in the same street.

Send in a Freedom of Information request. (Which council by the way?)

1/ to did ground in small plots to grow there own fruit and veg.
2/ to dig a tunnel back to france, thus saving the government billions of quids.

Yet again the Town Council have paid PR firm Edwards Harvey in March, this time £.1588. 01 - could have been spent on something useful like wavy benches.

Interesting also that £.415. 00 was paid to the Institute of Directors in March as membership is only open to individuals, not businesses or organisation, who are we paying for?

A few months ago I raised a motion on the use of the P/R company and how it would be better done in house.
sadly I didn't get the support of many other cllrs and I am one of 18 cllrs but no connection to any party.
One Cllr did request a break down on what monies DTC spent over the past year on the P/R but I understand he is still waiting for this breakdown.

I can only conclude that the councillors that support paying large sums of our money to spin doctors have something to hide.

So who is the lucky person who you are paying so that they can enjoy fine dining at the IofD's rather nice Georgian Pall Mall premises when 'in town' being awfully important on behalf of Dover eh?

The LinkedIn profile of the town clerk shows that she is a member of the august body, might be someone else though.
