Do you dream of him? Has he got his clothes on or not? Is this the love that dare not speak its name?
Get over it. Move on. There's serious sh1t going on.
(Btw, now Thursday's freed up from clapping for our wonderful NHS can we all go down on one knee for Floyd? I really enjoyed his fish cookery)
Don't worry Cap'n. Lockdown has been released somewhat and car showrooms are opening today. You could book a test drive and get an eye test at the same time!

A different planet from you, Reggie, that's for sure. The post truth era hasn't quite made it to this neck of the woods yet.

1. It begins.
2. It always begins in Liverpool!
On the plus side Cash converters opens up 15 Jun. Plenty of unopened laptops/tablets given to 'poor' kids to keep up on their skool work.

Indeed. And a major reason, I think, for following the advice to stay home as much as possible is that there are no loos available when you're out.

Yup. Should have followed my advice to provide continental style 'pissoirs'.

Yeah, since those of us of a female persuasion can now go to a garden centre and buy a bush to go behind.

It is now a crime to stay at someone else's home overnight, or to hold gatherings of two or more people indoors or more than six people outdoors, under new legislation. Officers can fine rule-breakers and arrest them if they do not co-operate.'

I note that you failed to mention the good news bit though Granny, surely we should be celebrating?
The chair of the National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC), Martin Hewitt, said personal responsibility was "key" as members of the public "enjoy these new freedoms".

Yes, from the front page of the Telegraph this morning, someone else 'enjoying his new freedoms':
If I were that child's parent, I'd offer a polite but robust 'NOT ON YOUR TERMS' to those masked and muzzled guards and swiftly remove him from that modern-day Bedlam before he suffers irreparable psychological damage. That's the only way to stop this insanity.

Looking forward to the chaos around the 14 day quarantine for arrivals at airports and ports today. I see the Daily Mail reporting that the Government is stuck with it after Cummings' made it up on the hoof to try and divert attention away from incompetence in other areas.
Hilarious to hear Government floating the idea of "air bridges" with countries that are either the same, or not worse than the UK. That would mean an air bridge with everybody bar the US and Brazil!

Damn all to do with Cummings. Stupid policy. Due to weeks of idiot commentators saying ' yeah, but there's planes landing at Heathrow etc' who understand bugger all about very much.

But 'idiot commentators' don't make government policy. Unless the government is open to idiocy.

"People will have to wear coverings on buses, trains, aircraft and ferries".
Yet another case of shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted. If face coverings are so important now why not when shopping or out in public areas

I imagine that will come, JH, now their social experiments have shown how willing we are to infantilise ourselves.

Or, the conversation went like this:
GS: "But I'm the Transport Secretary, if I do the briefing tonight they will just hammer me about the nonsensical 14 day quarantine!"
No 10: "Well just announce another policy then, anything will do. How about face masks on public transport?"
GS "Fine."

Are the government involved in some sort of weird reverse psychology.
Next month perhaps they will float the idea of protecting nursing homes by not sending them NHS covid patients.
