Can't help but think we will draw tonight and be relying on results going our way in the next game, that is how we do things

Squeaky bum time now as Sir Alex would have said, Roy Hodgson no doubt has tried to take pressure of his young players and told them to just play as they normally would for their clubs.l.
Should be a good game for the neutrals with both sides better at going forward than defending.

A goal down at the break and Uruguay deserve their lead at this stage, fingers crossed for the second half otherwise it will be our shortest world cup final stages involvement.

Good point back to the drawing table as I said do not blame the manger it is the whole setup that's needs a sort out .the marking at the back was very bad why was there no one or even two marking the best player in the world.? He was given so much room to move around in.Even after the first goal they still did not mark him out he was allowed so much room to move where he wanted to be.

Not watched much of the tournament as the weather has been a bit too good to sit indoors but reading reports and watching highlights it looks a lot better than 2010. The seemingly invincible Spain being turfed out after 2 matches, England likewise though it was never envisaged we would go very far in the tournament. Costa Rica have impressed and I watched Iran waging jihad on the Argies earlier only to be thwarted by the incredible Lionel Messi in stoppage time.
Hopefully the tournament will continue to throw up surprises along with good attacking football.

Only some businesses will loose out but others will gain because the money will divert to their tills.
The flag across the road from me was proudly hanging out of the window, after England's last game it was pulled inside.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

I saw the last England game and also 90% of last night's game between Argentina and Iran.
I thought Iran were very unlucky not to have won, or at least a draw and certainly thought they played so much better than we did - in both our matches.

Must be can't do Brian - if they can't play better, although one or two were O.K.

Would it help to lick your wounds if there was a EU team using all french players? Look and learn!
