'Dover TAP is a temporary traffic management system.'
Presumably this is 'temporary' merely in a Lewis Carroll sense, i.e. permanent.

Yet again, Dover gets targeted by a bunch of idiots that don't realise the pollution they wil cause by blocking the roads!
I fully agree about insulating your house (mine is) but the only people that are going to suffer from the chaos they are causing are the people of Dover.
I wish we could get an injunction to stop ANY protests in the town, I don't care what you want to protest about, just leave the town alone.

For God's sake can't these people just put on an extra pullover in winter? Damn sight cheaper than double glazing and has worked for generations. Southern whimps.

Good luck to them - if 5 people sitting on a bit of road can disrupt the majority of international trade coming in and out of this country it just shows what a joke we have become. Plod need to grow a pair.

Groups like this who disrupt so many people going about their lawful business do nothing but annoy everyone. I hope they do get locked up but maybe they could become martyrs to their cause high viz outfits while litter picking or similar might be a better solution.

Just walked down past the port entrance and Kent Police are doing a better job than the Met, seems to be slow flowing traffic now, with the protesters being arrested
Not much support from anyone amongst the people I spoke with

If repeated protests are the sign of a flourishing (though imperfect) democracy, then I'm all for a national protest site - at the Western Heights DVL memorial thingummy.

Apparently one of these “southern Wimps” is a Labour councillor from Scarborough… the mother of the Guy who walked off Good Morning Britain yesterday morning… she has been arrested four times…during the last couple of weeks.
How much pollution has she made just traveling from her home town.. also how much time and money been wasted. Could the money she used to get here be used to insulate a house?

All they are doing is causing more damage to the countries economy. If they want more homes insulated do what others have done……pay for it. There’s far too many still relying on the nanny state anyhow.
Time to take action…..mobilise the Dover forum backup. You’ll need to run it for a couple of minutes or so before the fun starts:

Do nothing and nothing happens.
