The press officer for UKIP AT Dover send a email to our MP about the Whitfield Development and how does he stand about it ,and the D,D,C.
He emailed back to us ,saying"I stand along side of the Public of Whitfield and agree that the development should NOT GO AHEAD.
He goes on to say ,"That the DDC, is in wrong in agreeing that it should go ahead.I have send this EMAIL to Paul of the Dover forum asking him to print it out for all to see.

00:2778867Unlike some political parties, in the Blues there is no centrally dictated line which has to be followed - or else.

08:2678872No he's not Vic. he is dead right. Spot on.
It's not healthy that local town councils and councillors (District too) are told how to vote by the central (National) party.

08:2978873Quite right Peter and Roger - The Conservatives are not a centrally controlled organisation in which members and its elected representatives are told what to think and do. It is the Party of the individual.
It is quite reasonable and legitimate for the Conservative MP and a Conservative Council to take opposing views on an issue.

10:4678902i am not saying that all the houses will be built vic, the economic climate confirms this.
what i object to is when politicians try to grab cheap publicity by saying that they can stop something that is already rubber stamped.

10:5378904What funding Vic? The Council is not funding the building it is only setting the planning parameters and it will be up to the market and the private sector to build as market conditions allow over the next 30 years or so.
You really do run off at odd tangents.

11:3878911I thought the local elections were not until next year, this thread strikes as election waffle about a subject already past boredom point on the other thread.

11:4478912I do actually read most of these politics threads and postings, but must confess that some of it is just the same thing but worded different on a new thread. I`ll go along with Jan on her posting.
Tell them that I came, and no one answered.
