i cannot see how it will work in practice, another issue is what happens if half the workforce go for the share bit and the others elect to stay as they are?
over the last 10 years or so many "great" ideas have been brought forward that are actually useless in practice.

I'm inclined to agree Reg, especially as EU laws are concerned, however as usual the devil is in the detail and we haven't seen any details yet.

Away from the conferences, the prospect of the Coalition lives on.
The standing ovations after the speeches was followed by more honest appraisals of their party`s prospects over dinner,
coffee or champagne, that they will face another hung parliament in 2015.
Which would see the Conservatives again needing the Lib /Dems ....................Oh dear..............

With the LibDems deciding for a continued Coalition with the Tories, the other parties you mention, Keith, who could ally with Labour, come down to UKIP and BNP, the SNP, Greens and Plaid Cimru.

Pressure grows, this morning, for Flashman and No 10 to release cache of private emails between him and Rebekah Brooks.
Cameron needed lawyer `s to prevent dozens of embarrassing messages to and from Rebekah Brooks, who had told Levson
there were two or more per week.
Also there are emails to and from Coulson...during his employment with Murdoch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What do we disagree on Keith?
My stance is that correspondence between individuals should remain private unless they threaten national security. The next step to snooping on emails is cameras in living rooms, have you read Big Brother?

Personal emails are like personal phone calls, private and as such should remain that way unless a serious crime has been committed. It should not matter if you are a Government Minister, a Trade Union leader or even the most vociferous pain in the backside member of this forum

they are private.
