Just gastronomic reports for the last week, is Anne holed up with a fella!!?
For my foodie contribution, I had lunch yesterday at McNade's farm Shop near Faversham, a great Spanish platter of 4 different chorizos, olives, salad and bread. It's an interesting experience, you put in your order and they go off round the shop collecting the items individually so you know it's super fresh.

Hang on Ray. How can imported Spanish chorizo be super fresh?

Freshly sliced, straight off the 'sausage' so it hasn't dried out!

aha yes I was away in Egypt, last minute deal. Amazing that people asked me what was happening to the port, it seems folk all over the country are bothered.
I need to catch up with whats what and whats not now??? anything exciting going on in the social world?

Not sure Anne. Looks like Keith and Ken are going to enjoy a bacon sarnie together at some stage. Not sure what colour the sauce will be though! lol
Melissa has exerted her 'influence' over Mark as he's gone very quiet lately.
Paul has been playing techie stuff to give us bigger pictures.
Jeane has been away for a 'weekend' in Paris and spent some time playing with bones.
Vic tried to commit suicide on Whitfield Hill, but couldn't even get that right.
The Methodists in River have been stealing customers from the Corn Mill.
Our Sue won the 'spot the scarecrow' competition before realising she was looking in the mirror (only joking Sue, you are gorgeous really).
Colin has drunk all the beer at the White Horse.
And the rest of us have been behaving very well thank you.
How was Egypt?

Great stuff Sid, but maybe substitute beer for wine at the moment.
Tell them that I came, and no one answered.

I was out eating I wont say where or they may think I have got it in for them Rubbish meal anyway am going to stick to the Fox or try the 2 in Lydden.
I went and joined the old Dover Harbour Board Club now changed its name to The Dover Club and it is easier to join I did not have to have a proposer. There was line dancing last night and there are Rock and Roll nights and loads of other things.
I am not sure yet how I can suggest things for singles as last time I went to a "do" I sat on a table with 4 couples and in fact everyone was a couple. There is a Murder Mystery evening this Friday but I dont want to go on my own. Boo hoo

not true mel, men cost a lot less than 500 quid, only have half the number of legs and don't want taking out for a walk.
most importantly not all of us cock our leg up against a lamp post or tree.
