The situation an hour ago was the worst yet, the air was blue and it looked like a fight was ready to break out. The newsagent sold white cider to the customer in front of me who promptly joined his mates so maybe DDC haven't paid them a visit yet.

What are the odds on DDC removing more seating as a way of solving the problem? No doubt there will be a lot of talk at the full council meeting but nothing much coming out of it as anything they do is dependent on the police doing their bit.

Moving seats hurt those who obey the rules.

more active policing 24/7. no good moving them on they will within an hour or two. thr could use the immigration center as a holding tank for them to dry out.

I think a rail ticket to somewhere far away like Scotland would be the perfect answer.

Was a lot quieter today which was just as well with all the tourists thronging the town, the market was doing good business and where the tour bus picks up and drops off the railings were bedecked with hanging baskets.

They were nearly off their heads this morning, shouting to odds at each other. The fair opens today so families will have to run the gauntlet to get in.

I hope you phoned the police to complain about them, repeated complaints is the only way anything will ever be done.

Noticed over the past week that our drinking friends are now using the small shop in Worthington Street, maybe the one in Pencester Road has been warned off.
