I have read all your good wishes out to Roger in hospital and he was very moved by them. We both thank you very much. Peter and Kathryn, he was very pleased to see you both this afternoon, thank you for calling in. He is progressing very slowly and hopes to be home as soon as they will let him free. Thanks to everyone once again, and to Vic for his kind offer of help. He would love to see anyone who can spare the time.
Jean.

Just dropped in to see Roger on the way in to Canterbury.
We were horrified.
He was sitting in a chair and a male nurse was taking blood. The blood was RED not blue!!!!
Seriously though, he is feeling much better and hopefully will be home tomorrow. Those hospital pyjamas don't make much of a fashion statement!

pleased to hear that, just in time to stop me posting a "get well soon" card to the hospital.
quite right about the pyjamas, i refused them on my one only one night stay in hospital.

Not having taken a pair with him, Roger didn't have a lot of choice. Streaking to the loo is frowned upon.
