According to the BBC, the report was obtained via an FOI request, though Sky claimed to have obtained it. Not a leak, then, although Sky were presumably tipped the wink that it existed in order to request it.

An interesting read. Nothing new, nothing stunning, but reassuringly realistic. One thing that did jump out at me is the reminder of how many financial commitments the Government has made in order to offset the loss of EU funding.
Well done DDC for at least doing something in the absence of any central Government assessment!

It's realistic, Neil, as far as it goes. But it's far from re-assuring in my book. Much as I disliked many of her other pronouncements, I do feel that Amber Rudd got it right when she likened the Brexiteers as being akin to climate change deniers in their response to its effect on us all.

Just watched BBC South East who did an article about it. Not one mention of Dover TAP and how it effects Aycliffe Residents.. Need to said now to show how it will badly effect Aycliffe in the future. apparently Highways England mentioned 6 months...
